I'm a trans-rights activist and trans woman from St. Louis, as well as a social work student specializing in gender therapy and transgender mental health.
Currently, I hold memberships in the World Professional Association for Transgender Health (WPATH), United States Professional Association for Transgender Health (USPATH), and the Transgender Professional Association for Transgender Health (TPATH).
I'm also the former Treasurer for St. Louis Democratic Socialists of America and a former producer of The RESIST Podcast, hosted by Danielle Muscato, which focuses on practical steps to resist the influence of the Donald Trump administration, white supremacy, and fascism.
Aside from my activist work, I'm also trained as a biologist, focusing on genetics and genomics. My past research interests and experience have included the molecular basis of circadian rhythms in mice and humans, potential epigenetic factors in autism, and the bioethics related to Direct-to-Consumer genetic testing and genotyping services.
